Would my mother be proud?

My mother at her high school graduation, eighteen months before she had me, and two years before she died leaving me motherless at six months old. I am told she was a warm vivacious person, full of life, and loved becoming a mother. That everyone loved her. That she was everyone's friend. That she loved me dearly. She couldn't know what would happen to her baby girl after my father remarried. She never got to see the fiercely strong woman I became. I'd like to think she'd be proud of me. I hope she is.
