I love books that force you to ponder and question...and decide big things, like what kind of love is "real" love, what is the cost of living your own life, whether you can love someone whole, and whether splintered families can ever be mended. This book did just that.
Wonderfully engaging, thought-provoking drama that tackles a multitude of real-life family issues with realistic heartbreak, healing and grief, with gorgeous writing that makes you hurt, laugh and pine. It touches on the most enviable love of four sisters, their relationships with their parents, and topics of secrets (always secrets,) marital bitterness, disappointment, the intersection of love and tragedy, loss and grief, mental illness and hope, friendship and family, love and acceptance, or the lack of it, and the dangers and consequences of planning someone else's life, and what is a life worth living. An amazing book. I could not put it down. A must read for lovers of fiction that reflects real life.
My book, Redeemed, A Memoir of a Stolen Childhood will be published June 25, 2024. Keep checking for book cover and other details.
